7 SAVVY WAYS TO SPEND MONEY
1. SAVE
Saving is crucial when it comes to being financially stable. When you practice saving money, saving becomes much easier! You don’t always have to save a big chunk at a time. By saving a little here and there, it’ll all add up! However, having a savings account can be very helpful.
In addition to a savings account, you should also consider starting an emergency savings fund. An emergency savings fund should be used for any unexpected expenses! Most importantly, there should be at least 3 months’ worth of expenses inside of it.
2. INVEST
Investing your money is a great way to put money towards the future. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably in your 20’s and working your butt off! So later on, you won’t have to work so hard. Right now is the best time to start investing in a retirement fund and let your money accumulate over time.
3. START A BUSINESS
When it comes to starting a business, I’ll always recommend starting a blog. Blogging and writing about things you’re passionate about is a great way to earn a passive income. Spending money on something that’ll bring you more money is probably one of the best ways of spending. 4. HELP SOMEONE IN NEED
Choosing to help someone in need goes a long way. You could try donating or helping those in your community. In fact, acts of kindness can brighten up someone’s day, whether it’s a family member, friend, or stranger!
5. ESSENTIALS
What’s a better way to spend money? Spending it on things that you actually need!
Create a budget for all your monthly expenses such as utilities, groceries, feminine care products, and any other daily essentials you may need. This will help you stick to your budget and you won’t waste your money on unnecessary things.
6. SPLURGE WISELY
When it comes to spending money, it’s important to be mindful of how much you are spending. Not being aware of your spending can negatively affect your monthly budget. While it’s wonderful to treat yourself, it’s also important to spend within your means.
7. PAY DEBT
A great money habit is paying more than the minimum amount due to your debit or credit card payments. By doing so, you’re able to avoid overpaying more than you actually spent on a product or service. When you pay the bare minimum, it’ll not only take longer to pay off your debt, but it can also hurt your credit!
