Life is like seasons. It’s constantly changing, teaching us new lessons and initiating change from within that will consequently impact our lives. It’s important that we have different practices in place to help us feel grounded. So that no matter what we’re facing in life, we learn how to navigate through the good and not so good moments.

Life can be great one moment, and the next you can be dealing with change, difficulties, or even uncertainty. You can feel more grounded daily by living an intentional life. Living intentionally can help you cherish the good moments of life and help you navigate tough times and overcome any obstacles.
Feeling grounding allows you to start discovering your true self and gaining clarity on what really matters to you. When you are aware of your values, you then can live an intentional life that will allow you to truly embrace the life you live. No matter what life looks like.
What Does It Mean To Feel Grounded?
I believe that feeling grounding means being deeply rooted in faith. Whether life is going great, you’re healing, or wanting change. Being grounded during the good and challenging times may look and feel different. For example:
- If life is going well – practice gratitude and be present in every moment
- If your healing – know that your strength comes from God
- If you desire change – believe that God can make all things new and take action daily
- If you’re dealing with grief, stress, or other challenges – try different deep breathing techniques to help you manage stress, surround yourself with loved ones, join a community, or talk to a professional
I like to think of feeling grounding as a way of getting re-centered mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. This helps me to not lose focus of the bigger picture and reminds not to become hyper focused on circumstances or situations. By doing so, I am able to shift my focus on the blessings that I have/experience in my daily life.
