I’ve discovered the power behind habits and sticking to them. Having a few small habits that you can commit to daily can keep you grounded through the good and even challenging days that you experience.
What Is The Healthiest Daily Routine?
Having a healthy daily routine is based on your goals and values. Therefore, creating a daily routine schedule that aligns with your goals can help you take small steps daily to work towards your desired outcome.
For example, if you want to improve your health, grow your business, improve your mindset, or bring more joy into your life. A few habits you could implement into your daily routine are:
- eating balanced meals.
- consuming your daily water intake goal.
- exercising for at least 30 minutes.
- deep working for x amount of hours.
- reading a book or listening to a motivational podcast.
- starting your day with habits that build faith.
- journaling
- doing one thing that brings you joy.
These are just a few examples of how to build a healthy daily routine based on the goals mentioned above.
Your daily routine is unique and it doesn’t have to look similar to other’s. The most helpful thing that has helped me create effective routines is creating a simple schedule, which promotes peace, and helps me feel more confident in approaching and completing tasks.

Before the planning and dreaming, it’s important to reflect. Reflecting on current thought patterns, beliefs, and perspectives that you may a negative impact on the way you see yourself and your life.
Whether you just want to reflect on your thoughts and feelings or want to work towards your desires.
Once you have an understanding of your mind, who and why you are the person that you are, you then can start improving the way you think. Which ultimately impacts your feelings, emotions, decisions, and actions you take.
Working on your mindset can change your life and improve your quality of life.
Something that I find helpful is writing down negative thoughts, getting to root of certain beliefs and then replacing them with Biblical truths.
This has changed my life tremendously and helps me remember in difficult times that with faith, things will always work out.

Another healthy habit that will help you gain mental clarity, allow you to live a fuller life, and help you discover your true self is starting a spiritual journey.
Embarking on something beyond yourself can help you find a deeper meaning and purpose for life. No matter where you are in life, starting a spiritual journey will help you constantly work towards personal growth.

In the past, I procrastinated when it came to completing tasks because it just felt too overwhelming and it left me clueless on where to start. Since implementing systems and routines into my daily life, it has become a lot easier to show up in all aspects of my no matter what type of season of life I’m in.
Having systems and routines can help you feel grounded and can help you feel more inclined to take action because you’re simply focusing on taking one step at a time. Drinking water daily is important for your overall health. And the best way to get started is by making a goal to how much water you’d like to intake daily.
You then can make sure you have the essentials you need such as a water bottle, your preferred choice of water, and another other items that you may find helpful in achieving your daily water intake goal.
Once you’ve gotten clear on your water intake goal and have a cute water bottle that gets you excited to drink water. You then can just focus on taking action.
Carrying your water bottle with you while running errands, exercising, working, or even while relaxing at home can help you get in the habit of drinking more water. You can also make it fun by tracking how much water drink daily!💧
12. Create A Variety Of Healthy Meal Ideas
Are you ready to feel better mentally and physically?
As I mentioned the benefits of simple living and the power of systems, you’d be amazed at how fun eating healthier can be.
While it has taken trial and error, I can honestly say that creating healthy meal options as well as grocery lists that I use as a reference during my weekly resets has changed my approach to consuming more balanced meals.
The goal isn’t to not indulge your favorite meals but to have the same excitement for healthy meals, lattes, and dishes you love.🧋
Why? Because when you take care of your body and become more mindful of what you’re consuming, you just feel better in every way.
13. Plan Your Workouts Ahead Of Time
Another good habit to start this new year is planning your workouts ahead of time. Setting an intention is one thing, but creating time in your weekly schedule can help you take a step in the right direction.
When you have an overview of your week and know when you can fit in a walk, run, or workout, you’re more likely to commit to your health and fitness goals.
This can help you determine the best time, location, and workout. Based on your availability throughout the week, you can decide how many days you’ll work out and can even go as far as planning the specific workouts you’ll be doing each week.

Hobbies are such a great way to bring some fun moments into your life.
If you find yourself always occupied with work or other obligations you may discover the art of slowing down by starting a new hobby.
Whether you prefer screen-free or cozy activities to decompress after a long day of work.
While it may not seem important to make time for hobbies, it is necessary to not get too distracted by responsibilities in order to prioritize your mental well-being and happiness.

Each day comes with new blessings, opportunities, and so much to be grateful for. It’s rather easy to be fixated on goals, the future, or even the past.

And I believe that no matter what life looks like, we should embrace and ENJOY the good. While at the same time, learning from all that we endure and not allowing the not-so-good moments to prevent us from living the life we’re blessed to experience each day.
