I don’t know if it’s just me, or if it seems as if 2026 will be a year of deep transformation, elevation, deep healing, sustainable growth, and filled with an overflow of blessings. Which means, it will be a year of action!

I’ve felt similar feelings previous years. But this past year has taught me not to rely on feelings and emotions alone to create a better life. But to instead remember where my strength comes from and take action regardless. Even when life didn’t feel the best.
As we approach the new year, I think it’s a great time to remember that God has a perfect and good plan just for you. No matter what your life looks like, what you’re going through, or how you feel. I think it’s crucial not to allow your past, challenges, others, or even yourself to lose sight of the greatest gift we are blessed to have.
One of the greatest gift we experience is the ability to wake up, breathe and simply live life. It’s often taken for granted. However, that can change with showing gratitude daily.
So if you have water to drink, food to eat, a place to call home, a job that allows you live and enjoy life. Showing thankfulness for these things will make a great start. Building this habit will help you see life differently. Which will improve the way you think, see life, and how you live your life.
Can I Actually Change My Life?
The key to enriching something you already have or desire to have is by practicing gratitude. This allows you to show appreciation for all the things in your life. Both the big and small.
Because the truth is that without them, you’ll discover the value they bring to your life.
So as you head into the New Year, take a moment to reflect on all that went well, what didn’t so well, things you’d like to improve, and what you’d like your life to look like a year from now.
In today’s post, I’ll be sharing 4 simple ways to make 2026 your year. I hope 2026 is one of the best years of your life and that it’s everything (and more) that you hop for it to be.

How To Make 2026 Your Year
How To Change Your Life In 2026!
1. Start Now
Whether you’re reading this post before the new year, at the start of the year, or throughout the year. Now is the perfect time to start taking steps in the direction that leads you to accomplishing your goals.
It’s never too late or too early to create a new life or start a new journey. The truth is that waiting only delays your growth, success, and making your desires a reality. You will never regret starting or trying something that has always been on your heart to pursue.
You’ll only regret not trying at all. So, if you want to make this year a pivotal one and one you’re proud of. It’s time to start now. Start that passion, job, journey, and say goodbye to anything preventing you from moving forward.
2. Remove Any Distractions
Removing distractions may feel uncomfortable, challenging, and even impossible. It’s essential to create something new, and that adds meaning and purpose to your life.
Each day you say yes to your healthy habits and routines, and take the action needed. Your discipline will grow, and you’ll become more consistent by focusing on the things that matter to you.
This will not only help you say no to the things that drain, distract, and even discourage you. But it will shift your focus. Which will lead to growth, accomplishments, and living in your full potential.
3. Stay Anchored
Staying grounded and anchored is also important while pursuing your passion. Having an anchor will help create balance and prevent burnout.
You can stay anchored by staying rooted in your values and beliefs, and by showing up authentically as yourself.
It’s so easy to get caught in the hustle and completing all the tasks that you unintentionally put other important aspects of life at the bottom of the list or completely off the list.
One way I stay anchored and balanced is by prioritizing my faith. And whether it’s reading my Bible, journaling, or praying. I feel more intentional and reminded of why I’m doing what I’m doing all that I do.
This builds confidence in showing up because each task serves a purpose in the bigger picture.
4. Take Consistent Action
The truth is that if you desire change, growth, or improvement of any kind in your life. You must take action. There is no way around working for the things you want.
It may take time, effort, discipline, consistency, and some learning along the way. But when you consistently show up you’ll discover the value in showing up each day, hour, and minute. Because you’ll gradually see progress in the right direction when you take action.
Taking responsibility and accountability is something that has helped me along the way. No matter your past or present circumstances, if you want something in life, it’s up to you to do your part and trust God with the outcome.
In life you may experience difficult and hard seasons or simple and beautiful seasons at some point.
My advice is to embrace, cherish, and truly appreciate the good moments. While during the hard seasons, make your life feel beautiful in small ways and welcome joy into your life.
I say all this, simply because life has ups and downs. And when you’re working towards a goal and when life happens the way you show up may shift or look differently than before. Whether you feel unmotivated, discouraged, or experience change. Give your best daily even if all you have is 1%. It’s still a win because you showed up with intention!
