Showing up for yourself isn’t just having a self-care moment. I believe that showing up for yourself is a daily decision. Meaning, choosing to do the things that enrich your mind, body, and soul. As a result, you become more present and joyful about the things that are apart of your daily life.
When you don’t show up for yourself and put all your energy into work, serving others, responsibilities, and other aspects of your life you may loose your spark of life and motivation.

10 Ways To Show Up For Yourself
How To Show Up For Yourself Everyday
1. Get Organized
There isn’t anything like having a clear mind. When your mind is constantly filled dates, deadlines, tasks, or other important reminders. It can make nearly impossible to focus, be present, as well as be creative and productive.
Whether you need a to grab a notebook, planner, or download a helpful app to help get organized. I am currently using PapernRoses digital planner along with a Notion planning system that all works together seamlessly to create flow in my life. Staying organized allows me to show up for myself and all the things that matter to me.
Even if you don’t consider yourself as a planner, writing things down will free up space in your mind and help you gain clarity.
2. Create Routines
Creating routines for the things that you do daily makes it easier to show up. Simply because you already know what needs to be done.
Morning routines, work routines, workout routines, skincare routines, and even evening routines are all ways to add structure to your life and help you show up for yourself.
If making time for yourself is a constant struggle, then you may benefit from creating even just one routine to help you feel grounded each day.
Block the time needed in your schedule to help you start prioritizing the routine(s) so that you choose to create.
3. Get Some Hobbies
Another great way to show up for yourself is spend time doing things you enjoy.
You can do so by finding hobbies that allow you to have fun or to increase your knowledge. Reading, solving puzzles, running, crafts, and diy crafts are all great hobby ideas to start add fun and adventure to your life.
4. Romanticize Your Life
Romanticizing your life is an awesome way to help you embrace the life you live.
Even if you’re wanting to make big positive shifts in your life. While the best things in life take time and effort.
Romanticizing life can help you be grateful for all that you have, while making the most of it. Whether it’s buying cute dinner plates to enjoy your meals on, creating playlists to set the vibes, or doing what ever it takes to make your life feel/look beautiful.
This will play a huge role in your joy, how you spend your time, and how you feel daily. It may seem small and even silly but being intentional about even the small moments can make a difference on your overall enjoyment of life.
5. Move Your Body Daily
Daily movement it essential to living a healthy lifestyle. Even if all you have the time for is a quick 5-10 minute workout each day to build the habit.
We only have one body, so it’s important to take care of it. Overtime you can increase the duration of your movement of choice.
Whatever form of exercise that you choose, choose something that you enjoy doing.
Choosing something that you don’t like doing or if it’s too challenging, may cause you to feel discouraged.
For the past few years walking has been my go to. It’s easy, I can listen to a podcast, audiobook, or enjoy the beauty of nature while taking care of my body.
I now do Pilates and run occasionally. So your journey is for you and you alone and so whatever you do pace yourself and have fun while doing it!
6. Buy A Cute Water Bottle & Use It
Why?
Staying hydrated is vital for your overall health. And not just during the warmer months. Which is why, I recommend buying a water bottle that you actually like.
It doesn’t have to be the most expensive one either. I have been using this pink Hydro Flask Water Bottle and I’ve been pretty consistent with hitting my daily water intake goal.
7. Track Your Progress
Tracking your progress is another great way to show up for yourself. When you see all the work you’ve put in, know what works for you, and see your growth. You see your journey right before your eyes.
This is also a good way to hold yourself accountable and can also serve as a reminder of what you’re capable of achieving. If you’re a reflective person or someone who loves to look back on memories. Then this may be both therapeutic and a creative outlet to have.
Whether you’re tracking your time, nutrition, habits, goals, or something that holds value to you, this a fun way to show up for yourself daily.
8. Simplify Your Life
One thing that I’ve learned is that sometimes, less can really lead to more. More clarity, peace, joy, effectiveness, and intentionality.
Making your life simple creates more room for action taking, creativity, time, freedom, and can also help you become more disciplined.
Living a simple life doesn’t mean living a boring life. It means giving thought to all that you do and bringing ease to your decisions.
For me not simplifying my life looked like giving myself too many choices and wasting time deciding rather than actually taking action. The more clarity you have, the easier it will be to start more meaningful actions.
9. Nuture Your Relationships
Another loving way to show up for yourself is to start nourishing your relationships. It’s so easy to get wrapped up with your own life, responsibilities, and work.
However, it’s also crucial to show up in other important relationships. Making time for the people in your life is a great way to be supportive and initiate growth within relationships.
Cherishing the people in your life not only fill your cup but it will remind them how loved and appreciated they are.
10. Take Consistent Action
Lastly, the best way to show up for yourself is taking consistent action. Whatever it is that you commit to with faith and consistent action, it’s nearly impossible to not not achieve your goals. Even if you aren’t seeing progress immediately, you’ll be so grateful that you didn’t give up on your goals and dreams.
So take consistent action, apply what you learn, and stay inspired!✨🪩🌻
