This post is all about self-care kit items for wellness.
Self-care is often overlooked nowadays, but it happens to be essential to living a healthy, yet joyful life. Dealing with the stress of everyday life can be overwhelming and draining if you don’t focus on yourself and your well-being.
Self-care can nourish your mind, body, soul, and ultimately empower you to become a better person!
How To Make A Self Care Kit
Self Care Kit Items For Women
First, you’ll need something to store your items in. You can use a box, basket, an old shoebox, container, or tote (literally anything). Decorate it so that it’s aesthetically beautiful to you. There is no right or wrong way to make your self-care kit. You want this kit to bring comfort and joy to your heart whenever you open it.
Also, you’ll need to make a list of your favorite things. Meaning, a reflection of the things that makes you, you!
Practicing self-care plays a tremendous role in your mental health. For those days when you’re feeling down, stressed out, need some “me” time, or even if you’re having a great day (which I hope) here are a few therapeutic items you can add to your self-care kit:
1. Essential Oils
Using essential oils is a great way to allow your senses to calm down and help you relax. I use an aroma necklace filled with lavender oil to help keep me at ease throughout the day.
2. Favorite Perfume
I love the smell of Juliet Has A Gun Not A Perfume which happens to be my favorite scent. I wear it only on special occasions like going on dates with my husband or when we’re traveling. So it holds lots of happy and cherished moments! Having your favorite fragrance in your self-care kit is a mood booster.
3. Eye Mask
Take a nap or just relax by using a cooling eye mask like this one!
4. Face Mask
A great way to relax is taking care of your skin by using a face and body mask like this Indian Healing Clay. There’s just something refreshing about having clean-moisturized skin.
