

There is so much in our daily lives that may cause us worry. Whether it’s in your personal or professional life, there are things you can do daily to reduce worry and be happier.

Worrying doesn’t make our life, circumstances, or future better.
It only steals our joy and peace and distracts us from being present in our lives. Often times, you may find yourself worrying about something that may never happen. And later realize that worry isn’t worth feeling drained, fearful, the stress that it puts on your body.
On the other hand, you may find yourself worrying about something that is already taking place and worrying most likely will not change the outcome.
Which is why when I find myself worrying about a situation or the future I reflect, accept what’s happening, and try my best to keep a positive perspective by using scriptures and/or quotes.
When it comes to our fulfillment of life, it’s important to be reminded that our attention and energy is most needed in the present moment. This ensures that we making the most of each day and spending our time and energy on the things that truly matter.

Yes you can really train yourself to smile more.
Coming from someone who used to let let worry dictate my decisions, I can honestly say that when you do the inner work and heal you can without a doubt become a more joyful person.
When you take the time and effort to overcome past hurt, loss, disappointment, and truly heal. You will gradually and ✨authentically ✨become a person that smiles more and you’ll find yourself worrying less about things that out of your control.
This is something that requires daily work and the journey isn’t meant to be perfect. So aim to get 1% better each day and you’ll feel a difference from within and enjoy other amazing results.

It’s so easy to focus on issues, situations, and circumstances. This often come with unwanted thoughts, feelings, and emotions that prevent positive change to occur within your life.
However, one of the most effective ways to smile more and worry less is to shift your focus towards something beyond yourself and have faith.
Having faith in something bigger than yourself, your problems, and worries can help you to focus pursue your passion and work towards creating better outcomes for yourself.
If you want to be truly happy and show up as your most authentic self, it’s crucial to get your mind off your problems.
This will overtime help you live a more meaningful life and start putting your focus into your interest, passion, work, relationships, growth, and all the things that make your life feel full and beautiful. All of which that will create lasting change and positively contribute to your overall happiness.
2. Implement Changes If Needed
After shifting your mindset, you then can start implementing any changes needed. You can do so by identifying your habits, routines, along with any thought patterns that may be causing any negative mindset and impacting your quality of life.
This can also be achieved by completing a life audit and reflecting on your current way of living and the positive and negative results that they are bringing into your life.
With that information you can be honest about where you currently are and where you’d like to be and list the habits, routines, and systems that where help you create your desired results little by little.
This will give you clarity on the things that are worth your focus moving forward. While allowing you to focus on where and how your energy is being used. Which will help you put in the work to improve your work, health, finances, relationships, and other important areas of your life. Simply because nothing else is within your control

Another important thing to do if you want to smile more and worry less is to practice gratitude daily.
You can’t truly be happy if you don’t have a thankful heart for all that you have and the life you are blessed to call yours. There is so much to be thankful for that is often overlooked because we’re focused on what’s next.
Even if you’re navigating change, a difficult season, waiting for a breakthrough, experiencing loss, or dealing with uncertainty. Gratitude may be the one thing that creates a positive shift within your mind and how you see life.
It can also open the door for more positivity and possibilities. Even if you have to teach yourself how to be grateful you’ll soon learn that you hold the key to your happiness and that you have to power to make each day amazing with a little gratitude.
One the way easiest for you to be consistent with your gratitude practice whether it’s in the notes app in your phone, in your planner or journal, write down at least three things that you’re thankful for each day. I do my daily gratitude in my prayer journal and here’s my gratitude entry from today:

- Lord, Thank Your For: Providing my every need
- Lord, Thank Your For: Never giving up on me
It’s really that simple. You can go even further by reflecting on each individual thing that you’re grateful for.
4. Start Living The Life You Wish To Create
Lastly, if you want to worry less about your life and circumstances and start smiling more.
It’s time to start living and taking action.🦋
Whether it’s by completing your daily habits, working towards your goals, making time for fun, or even spreading kindness. Basically, doing the things that will create the outcomes you want.
So instead of planning or waiting for the perfect time to take action, trust that you have all that you need to take the first step in the right direction.
And you can overtime make any improvements, adjustments and gain knowledge all while creating change and living your most blessed life!

All in all, you don’t need an achievement, milestone, big life event, material things, or even permission to be happy. You can be happy AND SMILE any moment. No matter what life looks like, no matter what you’re going through, there is always beauty in our everyday life.
