Important things I Learned About Being Easily Distracted
1. Audit Your Life
The first and most important thing is being honest about where your currently are. Completing a life audit for areas of life such as personal fulfillment, career, relationships, spiritual, finances, and any other areas of value to you will help you gain clarity along the way.
It’s crucial to be aware of where you are because this is the foundation from where you’re building from. I find this part the most helpful because it reminds me of who I am and the person I desire to be.
Doing a life audit can also help you see where and how you’re spending your time.
Taking a few moments to reflect on each area a life, how you’re spending your time, and where you’d like to be in the week, month, or year can help bridge the gap between where you are and where you’d like to be.
2. Determine What Really Matters

Which will make you more likely to show up. Even if you feel like you’re only are progressing 1% each day. God can bless that 1% tremendously and bigger than your imagination.💫🌻
3. Simplify Your Life
As I mentioned the importance of auditing your life and determining what really matters, it is also wise to simplify your life.
When things seem or appear too complex you may avoid it entirely.
However, building simple and effective systems for your entire life can make things more manageable and enjoyable. This is something that took me years to achieve especially when it comes to staying organized.
What I’ve learned and has been one of the most valuable lessons is to find what works for me and enjoy it. Simplifying your life can save you so much time, stress, and energy.
4. Enjoy The Journey
While certain area’s of life may be repetitive, mundane, or even annoying.
There are many parts of our life that we must show up regardless of how we feel, circumstances, and any other determining factors that impact our actions. It’s honestly just a part of being an adult and being responsible.
However, if there are certain things you don’t feel like doing but is something you need to do or that will enrich your life in some way. It’s crucial to show up, simply because without action there is no change.
So do whatever you feel the need to do to embrace each moment, task, or responsibility.
The energy that you put into the things that you do matter, so why not make it a joyful experience. Whether it’s turning on your favorite playlist, reading a book, journaling, or finding a way to make all that you do daily more enjoyable.
