Things To Do In Your 20s
Important Habits To Start In Your 20’s
BUILD YOUR FAITH
While in your twenties, there may be obstacles that come your way. And having faith in something greater than yourself. Building my faith in God brings peace, intentionality, and so much guidance to my life.
Having faith in God, growing your faith, and discovering who He is will help you during difficult times, which will lead you to live a more fulfilling life. This is another great way to gain insight into your purpose. Talking to God daily keeps my spirit uplifted because I know that no matter I face in life, He already has everything worked out for my good.
LOVE YOURSELF
Life in your 20s can be challenging at times. You experience many changes both mentally and physically. This is why loving yourself is crucial. If you aren’t giving yourself the love and care you desire, it will be difficult to build healthy relationships in life.
Practicing self-love can also improve your well-being and help you create healthy boundaries. When you get to know yourself better you’re able to build your confidence, live as your authentic self, and build meaningful connections with the people in your life.
TRAVEL
One of the greatest lessons I learned in my 20s is to create memories. Going to a place and capturing the moment is an awesome thing to look back on years down the line.
I love escaping my everyday life and just being somewhere I’ve never been before. It feels great packing my bags and experiencing something completely new, even if it’s just a weekend getaway. Traveling to a new destination will inspire you to explore and do even more adventurous things in life!
LET GO OF TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS
When you keep unhealthy relationships in your life that are toxic, it can affect your quality of life and well-being. It’s important to surround yourself with positive people.
Therefore surround yourself with those who will motivate and support you through everything that life throws your way. This may mean letting go of one-sided relationships or anyone who isn’t adding value to your life.
As humans, we change and sometimes we grow apart from people. During your twenties, you’re most likely living life and discovering who you are. So, don’t be surprised if you have to let go of people that you’re no longer aligned with.
FOCUS ON YOUR HEALTH
Focusing on your health before something goes wrong will prevent things from happening. You don’t want to wait until something drastic happens to start taking your health more seriously. Your spiritual, mental, and physical health are fundamental essentials to your everyday life.
Taking small steps to live a healthier lifestyle will be something you’ll want to care for your body daily. Creating a fitness routine, eating balanced meals, and staying hydrated are all small yet effective steps to can take today to prioritize your health.
FIND YOUR PASSION
In your twenties, you’ll receive many opinions from others on how and what you should do with your life. This is why you shouldn’t do things to please others, instead, find your passion and only commit to things that you want to commit to.
After all, you’re the only one that has to live with the decisions you make and you can’t live a fulfilling life if you’re only doing what others want you to do.
EAT HEALTHIER/BALANCED MEALS
Although it may be more convenient to order takeout and save time, your body isn’t getting the nutrition it needs. It might leave you feeling bloated or affect your mood. Cooking your meals can be fun and a lot healthier than eating out.
If you need a kickstart to eat healthier, I would recommend checking out Hello Fresh.

BUILD YOUR CREDIT
Credit is so important! All you need is one credit card to help build or start your credit. Be sure to not go over your spending limit and pay it off as quickly as possible.
Utilizing your credit cards to the max can affect your credit score negatively and cause it to drop. Aim to use no more than 30% of the credit that’s available to you.
OPEN A SAVINGS ACCOUNT
Save. Save. Save! Whether you live at home or on your own, you want to start saving as much as possible. You should open a savings account if you haven’t already.
This will help you reach your financial goals and will help you in your times of need! You never know when unexpected life situations may occur, and you’ll always want to be prepared. Seeing your money grow as you save will motivate you to save even more!
DO SOMETHING YOU’VE NEVER DONE BEFORE
Experiencing something you’ve never done before and stepping outside of your comfort zone can be very adventurous. Do that one thing you’ve always wanted to do but never done!
SET GOALS
You should always set short-term and long-term goals!
Setting goals will help you take the next steps that will lead to accomplishing the things you want to achieve in life. Challenging yourself is a fantastic way to improve your personal growth and build self-discipline.
Knowing what you would like to accomplish in life will help you live a more productive life when you are living with purpose!
JOURNAL DAILY
Writing down your thoughts can ease stress and anxiety. Journaling can also help clear your mind and help you feel refreshed! Even if you have no one to talk to at the moment, you can always express yourself with writing.
Writing down your thoughts and releasing any unwanted feelings can help positively manage your emotions.
